Mitch and Katie, these two are incredible amounts of fun, the best swing dancers in snow, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen the guy let the girl win on a tickle battle. ;)
This session began up the snowy canyon at Tibble Fork Reservoir in northern Utah. We initially had a day all picked out, as we went up the canyon, we were getting hit (pelted) with snow and hail.
Mitch and Katie were so kind, and we were able to reschedule to the next day that was filled with sunshine and clear skies! So I suppose I'll only post the one photo of the snow storm.
As soon as we started the session, these two were already up and dancing around. I couldn’t be a happier photographer getting to work with such a goofy and fun couple.
All prior to the session, Katie kept warning me that they are the most awkward couple on the planet. They were seriously awesome to work with, and Katie looked beautiful in each picture. And Mitch, he even gave her some posing tips. ;)
Their session was filled with laughs and sweet stories.
As the sun went behind the mountains, we decided to wrap up in Katie's scarf. Also, infinity scarves, normal scarves? Anyone have a preference? Katie had never had a normal scarf, only infinity scarves, so there are some fun outtakes of her tying her scarf. ;) But I may also add, it's much better than me trying to tie a tie for Alex.
Then some warming up with some swing dancing in the snow. ;)
Really though, Katie is beautiful.
That laughing shot has got to me one of my absolute favorites from the session as it just speaks so much about this couple.
And Mitch, what a romantic!
Katie and Mitch
I loved working with you both. I loved seeing your dancing to keep warm on our blizzard 15 minute shoot, and I loved seeing the love between the both of you on our sessions.
